On-line poker doesn't usually hit mainstream news reports very often, but the Bet365 Poker fraud became one of the exceptions. And even though it doesn't exactly bode well for on line poker that mainstream readers are now being confronted with Bet365's malpractices, it is still quite interesting on the other hand.
Just looking at press head lines within the past day or two, Online poker Journal, Fraud Watch and the San diego Telegraph Magazine were merely a handful of big media entities addressing the Bet365 Poker scam that's now being referred to as a ponzi scheme.
Needless to say, whenever a multi-billion business starts circumventing the strategies of a typical organization and putting online poker players cash in danger, the experience is bound to become huge news. This is not to say that Bet365 Poker didn't have intention of paying players back when these people asked for cashouts, but the even larger issue is that they lied to them about how much cash was being kept.
In addition, the ones at the top of the company were actually taking hundreds of thousands of us dollars out to fatten their personal pockets, instead of keeping players' cash in the actual organization where it belonged. One of the numerous examples that this scam has boomed to epic proportions is the fact that some people deposited money in to Bet365 Poker employing their PayPal account. The actual transfer went perfectly and was credited to the gamblers account.
The problem occurred after the players logged in to start playing when a browser window out of the blue popped up stating "Your Account Have Been Closed Because Of Security Problems".
Obviously the players went haywire and claimed their cash back immediately though the only respond from the Bet365 support was: "Regrettably We simply cannot repay the funds until you send security docs like Photo Identification, proof of address to us".
Scott, one amongst the numerous poker players affected, told us "Precisely what type of company is this...seriously??".
He goes on "They approved the deposit in seconds but when logged in this message your account was closed just pops up", "I thought all right no worries, I will move on to another internet poker network so I got in contact with their support who told me, we cannot repay you before sending in all security documents has been sent in...After all, seriously, I did not play a single game of poker before they took my money and closed the account."
We've got received numerous e-mails with identical stories of the Bet365 Poker Fraud, that they'll shut down players accounts right after a confirmed deposit were made.
